Our Mission

Built to Serve the Demanding Needs of Preservation

Cenaxo was formed to better serve the demanding needs of industry leaders with a customer-centric approach to project management. We strive to provide the highest quality results and exceptional value through dedication to continuous improvement and alignment with our clients' goals.

As a leading provider of proactive construction services, Cenaxo focuses on institutional and industrial building owners who expect high-quality, safety-oriented contractors for their projects. Our sophisticated project management method includes stringent jobsite standards, management controls, and collaboration with all trade partners.

The result: greater integration of all project trade teams and satisfaction across every stakeholder — from building owners and architects to preservation agencies and the communities that depend on these landmarks.

Our Philosophy

Plan. Protect. Preserve.

Three words that define our approach to every project, every client relationship, and every historic structure entrusted to our care.

Plan

Every project begins with thorough assessment, scope development, and collaborative planning. We evaluate conditions, analyze materials, and develop phased strategies that align with preservation standards and client budgets.

Protect

We safeguard both the people doing the work and the historic fabric they're restoring. Rigorous safety programs, environmental compliance, and careful material handling ensure that risk is always minimized to your irreplaceable structures during restoration.

Preserve

Our work is measured not just by what we build, but by what endures. Using period-appropriate materials, traditional techniques, and integrated multi-trade execution, we ensure that New England's architectural heritage stands for generations to come.

Health & Safety

Safety Is Our Highest Priority

At Cenaxo, the health and safety of our team is our highest priority. We emphasize compliance with all applicable environmental and safety regulations required by OSHA, the EPA, and the DOT. We have an effective safety program that facilitates a safe working environment, which is an integral part of Plan, Protect, and Preserve.

Our supervisors are charged with the responsibility of reducing and eliminating unsafe conditions on job sites. All of the Cenaxo team is required to adhere to safe work practices, and we emphasize the use of personal protective equipment for every employee.
