Hiring Skilled Masons
Cenaxo is hiring skilled masons to join our field crews across Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island. Full-time positions with competitive pay, benefits, and the opportunity to work on some of New England's most significant historic buildings.

About the Role
Cenaxo is looking for skilled masons to join our restoration crews on historic building projects across New England. Our work spans churches, monuments, universities, civic landmarks, and lighthouses — buildings that require careful hands and experienced judgment.
Masons at Cenaxo work as part of an integrated field team performing masonry restoration, repointing, stone repair, and related preservation work. Our crews travel to project sites across Connecticut, Massachusetts, and Rhode Island from our Willington, CT headquarters.

About Cenaxo
Cenaxo is a New England historic restoration firm founded in 2010 by Michael Gnazzo, a former stone carver with 35+ years of experience in the trade. We've built our reputation on quality craftsmanship, safety-first practices, and delivering restoration work that meets the standards required for landmark buildings.
Established Since 2010
A stable, growing firm with 16 years in business, an A+ BBB rating since 2011, and a strong reputation across the New England preservation industry.
Landmark Project Portfolio
Boston Light. Travelers Tower. Grace Episcopal Church. Yale Lewis Walpole. Harvard Lampoon. The kind of buildings our masons are proud to have worked on.
Leadership That Came From The Trade
Founded and led by Michael Gnazzo, who started as a mason and became a stone carver before moving into management. Leadership that understands the field.
Full Service, Start-to-Finish
Cenaxo takes on projects from planning through completion — managing the schedule, coordinating the trades, and self-performing every scope of work in-house. Clients bring us one contract, and we handle everything.
Small Team Culture
We're deliberately built as a tight-knit crew, not a giant contractor. That means better communication, direct access to leadership, and a work environment where your contributions are seen.
Long-Term Career Focus
Our masons stay with us. We invest in the people who invest in our work — through training, career development, and a clear path from field to leadership.
